Treasure Hunt to Mini Session Fest

Discovery Park Treasure Hunt!

Mission: Follow the clues, explore the trail, and find the hidden treasure at the end! (It’s just photos and possibly a small treat - but I was trying to make it fun.)

Clue 1: South Parking Lot off Emerson
Start where the cars rest and the trees begin.
Look for two gray trash cans standing like guards.
Between them, a dirt path leads you into the woods -
That’s where your adventure starts!

Clue 2:
You’ve parked your chariot and found the Honey Buckets - great start!
Now look for the wooden kiosk with maps and flyers - it’s your first checkpoint.
Stand facing it, and keep it on the same side of the road you came in on.
See that dirt path beside the paved curve? That’s your trail into adventure.
Follow it beneath the trees - your next clue is waiting down the path!

Clue 3:
You’re on the right path! Keep walking until you spot a short wooden fence post standing guard by the trail.
Just beyond it are two giant trees - tall, twisty, and impossible to miss.
They’ve been here longer than any of us, watching every explorer pass by.
Take a moment between them - this is where forest magic starts to hum.
Then keep going… your next clue is just ahead!

Clue 4:
Walk past the tall trees that reach high above the trail like gentle giants.
Their branches stretch overhead, making a leafy tunnel just for you.
Stay on the path - don’t wander off (even if it feels like an enchanted forest).
When the trees start to thin and the light gets brighter, your next clue is near!

Clue 5:
Keep walking until you see the “silver leaves” shimmering beside the trail — they almost sparkle in the light.
That’s how you know you’re close!
Follow the path as it curves past those shining branches.

Clue 6:
At the intersection, look to your right - that’s the gate you drove through when you arrived.
Straight ahead, you’ll see two stinky trash cans waiting to greet you.
Walk past those cans (but maybe don’t breathe too deeply).
You’re almost there - keep going toward your next clue!

Clue 7:
Find the “No Bikes” sign near the start of the trail.
From there, walk down the hill on the path covered with pine needles.
Stay on the main trail - your next clue is just ahead.

Clue 8:
From this spot, you can see the clearing ahead - sunlight spilling through the trees like a secret waiting to be found.
Keep moving toward it - you’re almost to the hidden meadow.

Clue 9:
Find the trail marker standing at the fork in the path.
Choose the right trail - the left one is a trick!
Follow the curve toward the trees, where your final clue waits.

Clue 10:
Keep going until you spot the tent — that’s your final stop.
When you see it, you’ve arrived at the treasure site!

Congratulations! You made it!!! Now I will reward you with way better photos than the ones I’ve posted here.
