For the past decade, roller derby has been a big part of my life. I started in 2013 as a skater but quickly realized I’m not exactly built for sports. Still wanting to be part of it, I picked up my camera and started volunteering to photograph leagues across the Pacific Northwest.
In 2018 it became even more personal when my daughter joined derby as Pinkerton - #123, first with Southside Revolution Junior Roller Derby and now with Jet City.
What started as volunteering turned into something much bigger - a community of fierce, generous people and a decade of unforgettable moments on and off the track.
